In loving memory of Janet Baker (nee Ridley -1951 to 2015) who recently lost her battle against this cruel disease.
We have set up a tribute webpage for Janet which allows family, friends and colleagues to add stories, photographs or video to build a ‘picture’ to celebrate her life. You can also make a donation direct to this webpage and if the fund reaches £2,500 then PSPA will dedicate a tree to Janet in one of the many Woodland Trust sites across the UK. So please dig deep to help fund and promote ground-breaking research to improve the lives of people affected by PSP and to finding treatments and ultimately a cure.

I only knew Janet in her later years, she so impressed me with her true courage and her detmination to live a full a life as was possible, a true inspiration.

Jannie believed in family and friendship more strongly than almost anyone I know. We were friends for more than 50 years. She was my bridesmaid and then godmother to my daughter, Lucy, and was always considered a part of our family. She was the one friend I could always rely on to tell me the truth, bluntly and honestly. If I'd always followed her advice I'd have made less mistakes in life and less fashion blunders too. She was quite simply the sister I never had. I can hardly believe she has gone. Our family will the poorer for her passing. Rest in peace, Jannie.
