For years Aunty Janet would mention or talk about 'Our Maz' and I wondered who this mysterious person was and it was only when I got a bit older that I realised Janet meant her sister Marion (my mum) and that Maz was her shortened version of Marion.

I always thought it was a lovely affectionate way to refer to her sister and to my knowledge she was the only one who referred to my mum in this way.
